Ohio Historical Marker Ceremony & Reception

A brown and gold Ohio Historical MarkerThe Sight Center is proud to celebrate a milestone in our history! On the first day of Blindness Awareness Month–Wednesday, October 1st–we will host a reception from 3:00–4:30 PM to commemorate the installation of our Ohio Historical Marker. A brief ceremony to honor this achievement will take place at 3:30 PM.

The marker is designed with accessibility in mind,  featuring a braille transcription and an audio description kiosk so that all visitors can fully experience the marker text.

Join us as we honor over a century of service and impact in our community. Light refreshments will be served.
